About Dr. Nina Le:

Dr. Nina Le Dr. Nina Le grew up in Los Angeles. She received her bachelor degree in Biochemistry at UCLA and then pursued her dental education at Columbia University in New York City. Because she enjoys working with children, she decided to specialize in pediatric dentistry. She completed the additional two-year training at Temple University Hospital in Philadelphia.

Knowing the Southbay community is where she belongs, Redondo Beach, Riviera Village, is the best location for its quaint neighborhood and its close promixity to the beach. Besides spending her time at private practice, she had helped out at a dental school and was involved with a non-profit dental organization providing care to children of low-income families. She has also traveled extensively to volunteer her service to under-developed countries such as Cambodia and Philippines.

She believes in the fundaments of patient care is preventive dentistry. Therefore it is extremely important to establish a Dental Home early, by the age of one*, to start the process of parents' education, which will transfer to early patient's education regarding oral hygiene. "Clean mouth, clean body."

Dr. Nina is a member of the American Dental Association, the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, the California Dental Association, the California Society of Pediatric Dentistry, the Southern California Society of Dentistry for Children, and the Western Los Angeles Dental Society.

* "Both the American Academy of Pediatrics and the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry recommend that all children see a pediatric dentist and establish a "dental home" by age one." from http://www.healthychildren.org
